Evangeline Chima is the founder of Black Mentorship Inc. (BMI) – an organization dedicated to fostering the professional growth and personal expansion of Black professionals through education, mentorship, and skills building. BMI was born from her experiences with systemic racism and bias as a Black professional woman in Canada.

Despite her education, professional certifications, work ethic, and commitment, she could not reach her professional aspirations. From these experiences and recognizing Black professionals are underrepresented across industries and leadership roles, Evangeline created Black Mentorship Inc. – (BMI) to inspire, support, and mentor professionals to fulfill their potential, build community, and promote change.

Evangeline has 20 years of expertise in offering transformational solutions to enterprises through information technology services, business analysis, digital transformation, and project management. In addition, she has extensive knowledge of DEI techniques, workplace safety and inclusion, coaching, and mentoring. Her experiences with institutional racism and bias as a Black professional woman in Canada inspired her to found Black Mentorship Inc.

She mentors and coaches community leaders, government representatives, youths, students, professionals, and newcomers, earning her the nickname "Chief Mentor Woman." She sits on many Boards and Advisory tables, participating in community building and promoting change and safe, inclusive, equitable communities where no one is left behind.

Evangeline is an Inspirator, 2020 CIBWE Top Canadian Woman to Watch, 2021 Women of Inspiration Black Leader Winner, and 2022 Queens Platinum Jubilee Community Service Award Winner. (And a highly sought motivational speaker) and She is also a devoted wife and mother of four boys
